The Nordic League has launched its 6th season, welcoming 22 teams from 14 countries. This year, the league has expanded beyond its original scope of Nordic countries, highlighting its success in promoting water polo across Europe.

The league’s growth from a small competition, initially conceived to bring together Nordic countries in a celebration of water polo, to its current stature as a significant European tournament, underscores its success in providing a valuable platform for the development of the sport. The inclusion of teams beyond the Nordic nations reflects the league’s commitment to nurturing talent and competition at a pan-European level.

Group Phase Overview

After the exciting qualification rounds, it is time for the group phase, which is hosted in three cities: Berlin, Oradea, and Stockholm, each presenting unique matchups and opportunities for teams to qualify for the Final Eight in Stockholm, Sweden from June 7th to 9th, 2024.

Group F – Berlin

Berlin serves as the battleground for Group F, where German representative SG Neukölln will host Antwerpse from Belgium, Kometa Brno from Czechia, and ZV De Ham from the Netherlands. The intense matchups scheduled for the weekend of March 16th and 17th promise to draw water polo enthusiasts to witness the skill and strategy of these top-tier teams. From this Thursday, Oradea will witness the rivalry of Group G, with CSU Crisul Oradea hosting the games. The group is rounded out by EVK Zaibas (Lithuania), Turun Uimarit (Finland), Tenerife Echeyde (Spain), and Cheltenham (UK). Group H – Stockholm
